     Since time out of memory The Enlightened have called Olympus their home. The denizens are of mixed races but have worked together to build a beautiful and prosperous land. Humans, and dwarves seeing to the infrastructure, Elves and halflings tending to the fauna and flora of the lands, and the Gnomes improving the tools and gear used by all. Olympus is a paradise and in peace has prospered. With all of their great accomplishments The Enlightened see themselves as highly sophisticated, and above those of other lands. The peace came to an end with the invasion of The Rot.

     The Rot came in force one night and attacked the small settlements near the beach in the north. The forces of Rot include the Orcs, Drow, Goblins, and Lizardfolk.The attack was slow at first, they were repelled by The Enlightened forces but their numbers and brute force eventually saw their victory of the capital in the north. With this victory they had a staging area to regroup and reinforce, and attack further settlements. Eventually the battle was brought to a stalemate with both sides holding half of the main continent. Each day they strive to either gain back lost lands, or take over more from their foes.
